On Sunday 8 August, the notes of the German composers Beethoven and Brahm surrounded the amazing venue “Torre delle Saline” in Albinia (Grosseto, Tuscany Maremma).
The Orbetello Piano Festival organized a double concert with the maestro Leonel Morales at the piano, indeed.
Mr Morales’ curriculum is impressive: professor at the Sommerakademie in Salzburg and at the Alfonso X el Sabio University in Madrid; exclusive testimonial of the Yangtze River pianos (China), artistic director and founder of the Maria Herrero International Piano Competition (Granada), the La Rioja International Piano Competition (La Rioja) and the Spanish Composer International Piano Competition (Madrid).
This summer, the Orbetello Piano Festival celebrated its 10th edition. The artistic director Giuliano Adorno and the organizing director Beatrice Piersanti managed to gift classical music lovers - both local people and tourists - with a rich calendar of important concerts. Despite the problems caused by the restrictions due to Covid-19 emergency, even this one was a very successful edition.
Since the beginning, the Orbetello Piano Festival has aimed to combine the excellence of music with the promotion of the territory, choosing breathtaking venues of Tuscany Maremma among Talamone, Orbetello and Albinia area. A festival dedicated to multi-sensory beauty!
