The 8th arrondissement of Paris is the epitome of the haussmannian real estate
Its elegant facades, luxury hotels and department stores make it a very attractive neighbourhood where businessmen, tourists and locals congregate.
The district was formerly the Paris' market gardening zone before becoming a place to promenade along the greenway which is now the Champs Elysées avenue.
The 8th arrondissement is home to many of the most famous monuments in Paris: The Arc de Triomphe located at the Place de l'Etoile, the Obelisk of the Place de la Concorde along the Seine, the Petit and the Grand Palais, the Elysée Palace rue du Faubourg St Honoré or the Parc Monceau. The most prestigious avenues in Paris are also in the 8th arrondissement: Avenue Marceau, Avenue Montaigne and Avenue George V.
The 19th-century Haussmannian architecture and the majestic bourgeois stone buildings make this district a popular place for property investment. Private mansions attract a great deal of interest, particularly the Hôtel de Marigny, in the street of the same name which is currently occupied by the Jacquemart-André Museum.
Majestic, prestigious and vibrant, it's clear that the 8th arrondissement is one of the most attractive neighbourhoods in Paris!
