The International Automobile Festival - Engel & Völkers goes to the auto exposure Invalides
Located in front of the Hotel des Invalides, the International Automobile Festival - Roger Dubuis, was the rendezvous of automotive design this weekend. Dubbed the "Fashion week of the automobile", this event brings together the most beautiful current concept cars and the most striking or atypical automobiles of the automotive industry.
The classic cars section showcases different types of vehicles. First of all, prestigious cars produced in series that made history with their design and technological innovations, such as the Mercedes 280SL Pagoda, or the legendary Citroën DS, followed by the Citroën SM.
Then, unique models of their kind have also made the trip, identifiable thanks to their unique design, always avant-garde for their time. The most representative model is surely the Delahaye type 135 M roadster, imagined and created by designers Figoni and Falaschi.
Finally, older cars, representative of the beginning of the automobile era, are also present. They are reminiscent of a time when cars were handcrafted by hand, and each car had a soul.
