La Finca Resort is one of the most popular golf resorts in the Alicante province, featuring a luxurious hotel with modern amenities. Most rooms boast panoramic views of the golf course and gardens, as well as the Escotera Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. The resort’s golf course has been awarded the 46th of the Top 100 Golf Courses in Spain. Opened in 2002, the course was designed by renowned Spanish designer Pepe Gancedo.
The resort lies in the small town of Algorfa, located on the banks of the river Segura, in Costa Blanca. The town is a 15-minute drive from the resort town and beaches of Guardamar del Segura.
The La Finca golf course boasts of wide generous fairways, and distinctive greens that vary in shape, features and challenges. Some of these unique greens include the 7th hole, which is in the shape of a square, and the 14th hole, which has a deep and round shape, much like a Chinese wok. The views around the golf course are spectacular, with lush greenery and natural vegetation all around, and the mountains of Escotera quite visible in the distance. Buggies: Buggies for hire at La Finca are equipped with GPS navigational systems and screens which show the player exactly where they are on the golf course, as well as a detailed map of the area, and directions to the next hole.

Pro Shop: La Finca Golf Resort’s Pro Shop offers a wide array of golf gear and equipment, including clubs, trolleys, and golf bags.
Driving Range: La Finca Golf Resort has a spacious driving range with a natural green and covered hitting area.
Golf Academy and Lessons: Those interested in learning about the sport can enroll in the Golf Academy at La Finca. The academy offers individual lessons, group classes (with a minimum of 4 students per group), and golf lessons for children. Here, students will learn the basics of golf, the different types of strokes, and the rules of etiquette. After theoretical classes, they can then apply what they have learned on the driving range or on the course.
The Clubhouse is set near the hotel, and showcases stunning Spanish-villa style architecture, with stucco walls, multiple arched doorways, and ornate iron railings on the clubhouse’s terraces. Here one can find the lockers and changing rooms, as well as the restaurant, Club House Terraza.
Club House Terraza features nature-inspired interiors—complete with overhead vines and indoor plants. It serves authentic Spanish food, as well as a variety of international dishes, cocktails, and drinks. A spacious terrace offers outdoor seating with gorgeous views of the golf course and surrounding greenery.
