Where is Vistabella Golf located?

The golf course and club is located in the town and municipality of Jacarilla, northwest of the city of Torrevieja, and near the municipality of Orihuela, in the province of Alicante. Though a few kilometers inland, the town is very much a part of the famous coastal district of Costa Blanca.

What is the golf course like?

Vistabella Golf’s course was designed to provide ample space for everyone, allowing all levels of player to be able to enjoy it from the first hole to the last. The course features undulating fairways that meld perfectly with the hilly terrain, strategic bunkers (with enough sand!), and lakes that are just large enough to provide a challenge, while not being too difficult even for amateurs. The 18-hole, par 72 golf course measures just over 6,000 meters in length, and has been constructed following modern golfing guidelines, with 4 spacious tees on each hole, wide paths for buggies, and regularly maintained bunkers.

What golf amenities does Vistabella Golf offer?

Buggies: Modern buggies are equipped with a GPS-guided navigational system and screen which shows the player’s exact location on the course, and where the next hole is located, with directions on how to get there.

Trolleys: Golfers can choose between mechanical and electric trolleys that can carry their golf bags, clubs and other equipment.

Golf Clubs: Vistabella Golf has a variety of high quality golf clubs from top brands available for rent.

Artificial Lights: Golfers don’t have to worry about not having enough time for a round on the course. Bright artificial lights are turned on at nightfall, so players can finish their rounds even when the sun has already set.

Pro Shop: In here one can find a variety of golf products—from clubs, tees and golf balls, to bags, trolleys and other equipment. Vistabella Golf’s Pro Shop offers top-of-the-line brands such as Cleveland, Callaway, Puma and Wilson, among others. Table tennis and bowling items and equipment are also available here.

What practice facilities are in Vistabella Golf?

Driving Range: The driving range has 23 hitting bays where golfers can practice their swings either on the mats or on natural grass. Some of the bays are covered so players can be shielded from the elements while practicing. The driving range can be a recreational activity in itself for amateur golfers.

Practice Bunkers: These are smaller versions of bunkers where golfers can practice and improve their technique (bunker shots) before playing the actual course.

Individual Lessons: Vistabella Golf offers golf lessons by professional and experienced golfers. Students can learn the game both in theory (done in a classroom) and in practice (on the driving range and the course itself).

What is in the Clubhouse?

The Vistabella Clubhouse, located in the upper area of the golf course, is a place where golfers, members and guests alike can unwind and relax before or after a game, or even without play a round. It is a large Spanish villa-style structure with spacious terraces for outdoor seating. All around the Clubhouse are magnificent views of lush greenery and surrounding hills. The Vistabella Clubhouse Restaurant serves delectable Spanish and international cuisine dishes and snacks, as well a wide selection of drinks. Guests can dine alfresco and enjoy the view and live music held on some evenings.
