An Irish pub founded in 1999 and located in La Zenia, Orihuela Costa, Paddy’s Point is also a meeting place for the local golf society. The Society is open to everyone, and members and guests play every Wednesday of the month.

La Zenia Golf Society

Established in 2002, La Zenia Golf Society is based at the Gap Bar and open to everyone for outings and games. Official Golf Society days are held every Thursday, although many members also play on Saturdays. Those interested can meet with the members on a Thursday or Saturday in the Gap Bar at 8:00AM. The fee of €60 includes a buggy, buffet lunch and a chance to win prizes.

San Miguel Golf Society

One of the largest golf societies on the Southern Costa Blanca, and in existence for over 25 years, San Miguel Golf Society, or SMGS, boasts more than 150 members, with 40-50 members regularly attending each golf day. The society plays every Wednesday, and guests are welcome to join. The high number of players in regular bookings allows preferential group rates which each member or guest can enjoy.

The Members Golf Society

The Members Golf Society, or TMGS, is a popular golf society in Orihuela Costa with events and competitions held every week in various golf courses all over the Costa Blanca. Guests or visitors interested in participating are welcome to play, and local residents can enjoy membership benefits once they have played in at least 3 events.

The Abbey Tavern Golf Society

With meetings every Thursday, The Abbey Tavern Golf Society is a friendly golf society open to guests and new members any time. It has its base in The Abbey Tavern, an Irish pub offering food, drinks and live music. First Tee Off time is usually at 9:00-10:AM (after breakfast). After the game, many participants meet back at the pub for a buffet lunch.

The Plaza Golf Society

The Plaza Golf Society, or TPGS, is a golf society based in The Ale House—an English bar in Villamartin. Members play every other Friday at various local courses throughout Orihuela Costa, with meet-ups before and after the game at The Ale House for food and drinks.

Palms Golf Society

Sponsored by and based at Drivers Bar &Bistro, Palms Golf Society caters to both residents of Orihuela Costa and holidaymakers who are looking to play a fun, friendly and relaxing game of golf with good company.
