1) A book
"The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett. When I was younger, I used to read this kind of novel during my travels. Now that I have small children, I don't have as much time to read books - mostly the ones that relate to my work.
2) A phrase
"I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination (James Dean). I think it is important to have clear goals and try to do everything in your power to achieve them. It's no use blaming external factors for one's setbacks.
3) A place
"La Cerdanya". A perfect all-year-round place to enjoy with my family and friends: skiing in winter, cycling in spring, swimming in the pool in summer, and "mushroom hunting" trips in autumn.
4) A song
"Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns N' Roses. I used to listen to them as a teenager on my Walkman cassette player. I still remember the band's 1993 concert in Barcelona when I was 16; last year I was able to repeat the same experience 25 years later.
5) A sport
I like to practice many different sports but I am not an expert in any of them: skiing, paddle tennis, cycling, swimming, fitness ...
6) A movie
"Reservoir Dogs" by Quentin Tarantino. A film that surprised me very much the first time I watched it and it has become a cult classic.
7) A destination
"Mexico". My wife is Mexican and we travel there often to visit her family and friends, which has allowed me to discover this wonderful country.
8) A favourite restaurant / food
"Japanese food". I could eat it every day. Delicious whether you go to the best Japanese restaurants or order a take-away.
9) Your perfect plan
Spend time with my family in La Cerdanya.
10) A person you admire
"Vicente Ferrer". Thanks to his Foundation, the lives of three million disadvantaged people in India have changed. I had the honour of meeting with him personally in the year 2000 and the opportunity to learn how it is possible to change the world.
