Gorgullon

Gorgullón is located south of the City of Pontevedra, along the Avenida de Maria Victoria Moreno. This tranquil neighbourhood is characterized by spacious green areas and organized clusters of residential buildings.

Travelling to and from Gorgullón is made easy by the major bus station - Estación de Autobuses de Pontevedra and the Pontevedra Train Station next to it. There are car rental companies and taxi services available at any time of the day. The light to moderate traffic of Gorgullón is also ideal for taking your bike out for errands or some exercise.

Rio Gafos, a river that runs through the Gorgullón area is a natural park in itself, with a gently flowing creek, lush vegetation, diverse wildlife, and aged trees. Its banks have jogging trails, benches, and picnic areas. Families and their pets will often enjoy walks along the shaded riverbanks. After spending a day at the park, head out to the nearby diners of Coco Ribs Coffee Bar, La Catedral, Dulce de Leche, and Café Bar Citania for an ice-cold beer and tapas while seated outdoors, enjoying the mild Galician summer breeze.
