Camí de Cavalls is perhaps the most well known and among the best hiking trails that was originally created for military purposes and has been in existence since the 17th century. The Camí de Cavalls crosses a wide variety of landscapes, from beaches and forests to urban locations and agricultural / farming areas. The highlights are the Albufera des Grau Nature Reserve and the beautiful surroundings of the Faváritx lighthouse. Another favourite ‘easier trail’ by mountain bike is the KtE Mahon. You will pass through Es Castell, Sant Lluis and Llucmacanes, covering a total of 30 kilometres. These routes are best taken in autumn or spring, when temperatures on the island are cooler.
