Rentals in Deià, Sóller, Pollensa and Alcudia

In this region, demand is mostly centred around holiday rentals, above all high-quality fincas and villas. Prices at Engel & Völkers can reach up to 15,000 euros per week for houses, particularly in popular areas around Valldemossa, Deià and Sóller. Long-term rentals are rare, because owners tend to spend a good deal of time in the property themselves. New holiday rental licences are hard to acquire in this area; the demand for properties that already have licences in place is high.

The north of the island is currently experiencing a growth in interest from investors seeking to purchase property for short-term rental, although long-term rentals remain popular in this region too. Modern, minimalistic properties in rural areas or with a sea view are especially sought after. There is high demand for properties with a holiday rental licence, which tend to rent out at a rate of approximately 10,000 euros per week. For long-term rentals, the prices at Engel & Völkers range between 2,400 and 6,000 euros per month for houses and between 1,100 and 2,300 euros per month for apartments. One new trend that is clearly emerging in the north is the use of properties here as home offices, thanks to the year round mild climate.
