The 120 best golfers in the world are gathering in Mallorca from the 20th to 23rd October 2022 for the second edition of the DP World Tour Mallorca Golf Open, fighting for the 2 million US Dollars prize money.

Not only has the Son Muntaner golf course never looked better, thanks to the meticulous preparations of the Arabella Golf group, but also the line-up of players participating will be an amazing spectacle for golf fans.
It is also the perfect timing! The tournament comes at the end of the so-called "Spanish Swing" with three DP World Tour events in Spain and as the penultimate event of the regular DP World Tour 2022 calendar. The Mallorca Golf Open offers a number of top players the last chance in the Race to Dubai rankings to break into the top 60 or defend their place in the top 60. At last year's Mallorca Golf Open the Dane Jeff Winther celebrated his emotional debut victory on the DP World Tour with his family on site.
With its three golf courses Son Vida, Son Muntaner and Son Quint, just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Palma, the Arabella Group has a long history in professional golf and is ready for the Mallorca Golf Open 2022. Back in 1990 the DP World Tour was held on one of the group's courses and it did so with the victory of the legendary Severiano Ballesteros as the big winner on the Son Vida course.
32 years later, the emblematic Son Muntaner course now celebrates its debut on the DP World Tour and Francisco Vila, director of Arabella Hoteles e Inversiones SA says: "We are very excited to host a DP World Tour tournament on our courses once again. Attracting an international tournament like this is very special for us and allows us to advocate seasonality and attract tourists to the island all year round. This event helps the world of golf, but also the whole of Mallorca.”
