At the center of the park is Casa das Ciencias, once a palace and now a science museum with a planetarium and fun interactive science exhibits. Another attraction located within Plaza de Santa Margarita—just outside the park’s greenery—is Pazo da Ópera, the popular coliseum structure that house the city’s opera house, where many concerts, symphonies and theatrical performances are held.
