And talking about its buildings, it is worth mentioning that the Bastanist Sanctuary is located in the municipality of Montellà i Martinet. One of the most emblematic places due to its religious value; the story tells that it was here that a young shepherd found the image of the Virgin of Bastanist, a fact that dates back to 1109.

Hiking routes

The Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park is one of the main attractions of Cerdanya, it is an imposing creation of nature, it has 41 thousand 342 hectares and a climate that mixes the Mediterranean with the mountain. Tourists love its snowfall, which can last up to six months in the higher parts, usually between November and May.

The most popular route starts in Estana, where there are parking areas, or you can also park at the Coll de Pallers to start the path towards the Prat de Cadí route.

The attraction of this site are the bunkers designed to serve as a refuge during the Civil War, they are very crude constructions that lack aesthetics, but have a historical weight worth admiring.
