Das and Urús not only have in common being municipalities of the Cerdanya region, but also stand out for having the most beautiful landscapes of the region that together with the current boom of vacation houses, make the region a highlighted point for tourists. These two municipalities have a population that doesn’t reach 400 inhabitants. Its fundamental economic activities, through the times, have been livestock, agriculture and forestry exploitation. The tourist achievements of these municipalities respond to the great variety in the nature of its attractions. The municipality of Urús is at the foot of the well-known ski resort Masella, where it is possible to ski more than 70 km in an environment covered with woods. The village of Urús is nestled in a charming natural environment and proudly displays its buildings, such as the church of Sant Climent or the Ermitatge Sant Grau. Another must-see site here is the Cold Source, famous and mystical water fountain, which flows cooler in summer than in winter and benefits the kidneys. La Balira is a residential area where the vacation houses are characterized by their panoramic views.
