The outskirts of Bolvir, a renowned town in Cerdanya, hold an authentic gem. The Hotel La Torre del Remei is a mansion designed by a disciple of the great master Antonio Gaudí in 1910, which enjoys an unbeatable setting. In a way, it evokes the rest of the famous Palladian villas although, in this case, it hosts the nature and colors of the Pyrenees and the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. Of course, more resounding; with some rustic touches typical of the old, renovated farmhouse, inspired in mountain life.
Likewise, there is a skillful fusion between modernist concepts and the demands of high mountain refuges, to never clash with the landscape, both on the walls and in the interior of its 24 rooms. The skillfully laid out perimeter gardens, whose extension reaches three hectares and where some imposing century-old sequoias stand, contribute in no modest way to achieving the peculiar atmosphere of the place, which will almost certainly captivate any new visitor.
As is essential in this type of establishment, the owners have taken great care to ensure that the culinary aspect reaches considerable quality standards. At TR1910 you can enjoy the skillful touch of Chef Alvaro Martí focusing on seasonal dishes and the recovery of the region's typical recipes.
