Mountain competition which is amongst the most spectacular for both fans and participants due to the impressive images enjoyed along the route. Cerdanya’s cycling event, 3 Nations Cycle Tour, celebrates its 41st edition this year, combining challenge, passion and effort in an incomparable setting.
The 3 Nations Tour is a competition that runs between Spain, France and Andorra and challenges participants to travel 140 km reaching 2,400 meters of altitude, starting and finishing in the town of Puigcerdà. The 2021 edition will be very special after the suspension of the event last year and, as it could not be otherwise, it will be carried out with all the relevant security measures to guarantee a healthy event in every way.
The tour is one of the most consolidated events of the Catalan cycling scene and an exceptional showcase to publicize the charms of Cerdanya as a tourist destination. Precisely to give the event a greater international dimension, the Puigcerdà Cycling Club engaged José Antonio Hermida, Olympic medalist and world reference in mountain biking, to take responsibility for the organization of the event since 2019. Do not forget that Hermida is one of Puigcerda’s most illustrious neighbors and, therefore, knows the benefits of the region like few others.
