Engel & Völkers Commercial and its international team attend the MIPIM

The most influential market participants from all international real estate sectors once again attended the MIPIM trade fair held in Cannes from 12 – 15 March 2019. The specialist trade fair of note opened its gates for the 30th time this year. “Apart from the 30-year anniversary as such, the spectacular weather certainly also contributed to the very good turnout at the fair. The talks in our trade fair booth were held at very short intervals and the level of demand was high for suitable investment opportunities by institutional investors,” reported Dirk Beller, Head of Commercial.

In addition to the contacts from the Commercial Offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Zurich, Barcelona as well as Project Distribution, this year the experts from Engel & Völkers Hotel Consulting and Engel & Völkers Investment Consulting were once again available as contacts on site. This year’s attendance at the trade fair resulted in a very special event for the colleagues from Engel & Völkers Investment Consulting GmbH – they received the Digitisation Award from Realxdata GmbH. This award was conferred for the very first time on the occasion of the 30th MIPIM.

With some 26.000 participants from 100 countries, the MIPIM once again affirmed its reputation as the key property trade fair. Engel & Völkers Commercial was quite comfortable in partnering with the organisation Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt, an initiative to boost and reinforce Frankfurt’s economy.
