Pierre Brice and his wife spent many years living on the estate. Hella Brice, the widow of the Winnetou actor Pierre Brice, has decided to part with their country residence near Paris. For around 30 years, the actor and his wife lived on the estate in the Oise Valley in the Picardy region of France. Now the property is on the market for 950.000 euros.

Gracious country home designed in a French style
Blessed with the beautiful name “Domaine des Moinets”, the French country estate was built during the reign of Napoleon III in circa 1850. The property is set in grounds spanning some 8,000 square metres, complete with its landscaped gardens graced with trees dating back 300 years. The eleven rooms of the property are set over three levels, with total interiors of around 560 square metres. The property has been finished to a high standard, receiving visitors with an inviting foyer complete with an impressive rounded library. About Pierre Brice
The actor Pierre Brice, who died in 2015, was best known for his role as the fictional Apache chief Winnetou in the German Karl May films, which made him a cult star in the 1960s. The native Frenchman also worked as a stage actor, a singer, a dubbing actor, and an author. Pierre Brice wrote novels and plays, and in 2004 he published his biography entitled “Winnetou and I”. In addition, he was active as a UNICEF ambassador, and in 1992 he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
