The North of Ludwigshafen

The north of Ludwigshafen with the districts of Pfingstweide, Edigheim, and Oppau borders the BASF site. The three districts are assigned to the Oppau area. Edigheim is considered the oldest district and has probably existed since the 5th century. It is characterized by medium to good locations, all of which are in green surroundings. Oppau is home to the BASF plant, where medium locations predominantly dominate. Pfingstweide represents the northernmost district.
