The Castelconturbia golf course is located in the Contea di Conturbia, in the vicinity of the 17th century castle, upstream of the Ticino River, where the waters of Lake Maggiore gradually become the river, in a splendid setting of unspoilt nature. The modern course has been ranked among the best 10 courses in continental Europe and since 1987 and for all the following years, the Club has been awarded the coveted accolade with which the best courses in Italy are rewarded, until it achieved the title of best course in 2003. It has hosted the Italian Open twice (1991 and 1998) once on the Challenge Tour (2020) and the course record, 66 strokes, is held by Josè Maria Olazabal and Costantino Rocca. The strategic location makes Agrate Conturbia accessible by all means: by car in a few hours you are in Switzerland and in less than an hour in Milan and Malpensa airport. In less than half an hour you can reach both Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, two of the most fascinating Italian lakes.
