Prague 5: Location and surroundings of this property

Jinonice is located in the hilly Southwestern part of Prague on the left bank of the river Vltava which is a part of Prague 5. Jinonice is mostly a developed area with villas. Because of the hills such as Vidoule and Děvín, there was not a very suitable area to build flats. After 1918 Vidoule started a large family housing project and it continues to develop more housing to this day. Many educational options in Jinonice start from preschools and end at Universities. The well known buildings in the area are the Faculty of Social Science and Faculty of Humanitarian Studies - Charles University. There is also the newly relocated German school. In the Butovice street is the Waldorf’s first and secondary school which uses the well-known Waldorf’s teaching methods taught throughout the world.
