Malá Strana is a historical town located on the left bank of Vltava. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful Prague’s quarters. Abundance of impressive developments and interesting places such as Kampa Island surrounded by Čertovka, Malostranské Square with St. Mikuláš Church, Maltézské Square, Újezd with railway to Petřín, Štefánikova Hvězdárna, Petřín Tower, and abundance of gardens (Kinského, Petřínské sady, Schönbornská). Car traffic was made easy due to the new truck prohibition law which does not allow trucks to go through the historical center. The Strahovský Tunnel diverts traffic and eases it considerably.
