Tremezzina, a lakeside municipality on the central-western shore of Lake Como, is one of the most famous and prestigious resorts in the area. The town of Lenno is well known both for its splendid lakeside promenade, where there are numerous restaurants overlooking the Gulf of Venus, and for the splendid Villa del Balbianello; the latter is a residence open to the public that last year was the second most visited FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano, Italian Environment Fund) property in Italy. Tremezzo is located opposite the world-famous town of Bellagio, which can be reached in only 10 minutes by boat. For lovers of winter sports, the most prestigious alpine resorts can be reached in a short time; St. Moritz is only 1.5 hours' drive away and Livigno, a duty-free zone where one can go shopping in the middle of the ski slopes, is about 2 hours' drive away.

The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) is governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses. The consideration (commission) payable by the Buyer/Tenant for our services, plus VAT at the legal rate, is 5% of the sale price of a property or 15% of a yearly rent. If a sale is made, our right to commission arises as soon as the Buyer is informed that the Seller has accepted the offer; in case of property to let, our right to commission arises as soon as the person seeking to rent a property is informed that the Landlord has agreed to let the property to them. The commission must be paid as soon as the parties sign the preliminary sale agreement or the rental agreement as the case may be. The Buyer shall pay the contract registration fees, VAT, if due, notary public expenses, stamp duty, land registration and mortgage charges and any other expenses or taxes pro tempore in force at the time.
