It is called Città Giardino thanks to the numerous and beautiful private and public gardens that are located within the municipality. The city of Varese is located in a characteristic position, at the foot of the Sacro Monte di Varese, which is part of the Massif of the field of flowers and is home to an astronomical observatory. The Milan Malpensa and Lugano Agno airports are around 30 minutes away. The shores of Lake Maggiore are a 20-minute drive away.
