Oggiono is a small town near Lecco, located on the banks of the picturesque Lake Annone and the surrounding hills, and in the background are the mountains of Lecco. This scenic area is well known among nature lovers for its beautiful landscapes, such as the Monte Barro Natural Park (protected area that offers spectacular views), Lake Annone is surrounded by the cycling paths, various hiking trails and cliffs for climbing. Among the architectural and cultural attractions of Oggiono you will find the octagonal Romanesque Baptistery of San Giovanni Battista and the works of Marco d’Oggiono (pupil of Leonardo da Vinci) and the works of Andrea Appiano, preserved in the church of Sant’Eufemia. The city of Lecco can be easily reached in 14 minutes by car, Como is about 35 minutes (28 km). The metropolis Milan with its Malpensa and Linate airports is about 54 km away (about 57 minutes by car), while the Swiss city of Lugano with its regional airport can be reached in an hour and a quarter (about 64 km). Winter sports enthusiasts can reach the famous ski resorts of St. Moritz (CH), Bormio, Madesimo and Livigno in about 2-3 hours by car. The property brokerage engagement with “Finest Italian Estates S.r.l.” (affiliate of Engel & Völkers Italia S.r.l.) is governed by a specific agreement and pertinent clauses. The consideration (commission) payable by the Buyer/Tenant for our services, plus VAT at the legal rate, is 5% of the sale price of a property or 15% of a yearly rent. If a sale is made, our right to commission arises as soon as the Buyer is informed that the Seller has accepted the offer; in case of property to let, our right to commission arises as soon as the person seeking to rent a property is informed that the Landlord has agreed to let the property to them. The commission must be paid as soon as the parties sign the preliminary sale agreement or the rental agreement as the case may be.
