The municipality of Binningen in Leimental has around 14,685 inhabitants and is one of the most popular residential communities in the Basel region in the district of Arlesheim. The proximity to the city of Basel with all its amenities and the low tax rate of 49% make the municipality an extremely attractive place to live. Public transport (BVB and BLT tram lines 10, 15 and 17 as well as bus line 37), but also by car, Basel, the railway station and the airport can be reached in no time at all.
