The Municipality is made up of three lakeside locations: Onno, Vassena, Limonta. Oliveto Lario is the only municipality that separates Lecco from Bellagio. Following the road you can admire magnificent panoramic views, with a gaze on the coast, you can reach Bellagio and the center of the lake. On the opposite bank, you can see the villages of Lierna, Mandello, Abbadia and the peaks of the Grigna that seem to touch the sky. Vassena is the most populous inhabited center of the Municipality of Oliveto Lario, the town extends from the shores of the lake to the hills above, where we find the small hamlet of Alpetto, the wonderful panorama that opens onto the peaks of the Grigne. There are beautiful beaches in this area, especially that of Onno. On the lake shore near the small port of Vassena stands the parish church of Santi Nazaro e Celso. In spring and summer the Lario Navigation service is active, which connects the town of Bellagio with Lecco by boat, calling at the port of Vassena.
