- 9,381 m² Plot surface
Description
Meadow Lake Fishing Camp, est. in the 1930's, is located in the Thompson-Okanagan District of British Columbia - a two-hour drive north of Kamloops on Highways 5 and 24. Nestled in a picturesque landscape near Little Fort, the property is situated on 2.3 acres with 194 feet of lake frontage. Main lodge, a two-storey building with loft, doubles as a caretaker's reside and offers two year-round showers, flush toilets, WIFI, lounge, dining room plus very large deck with fireplace. The lodge and the whole camp are powered by a solar system. Built in 2021, there is a brand new shower house with flush toilets, sinks and showers. There are 10 cabins - all one room, rustic log structures heated with wood stoves. They have electricity but no plumbing. You will also find a storage shed, fish cleaning hut, 2 woodsheds and a garbage storage building. Meadow Lake Fishing Camp has fishing on 14 nearby hike-in lakes for the famous red-meated Kamloops trout. Included are boats for you on all 14 of our lakes and you can access over 50 other lakes either with one of our free float tubes, or your own. Most lakes can be reached within a 2–30 minute hike, some take a little longer. Meadow Lake has most recently been operating as an "all-incusive" fishing resort providing guests with: bedding, towels, firewood, kindling, fresh water for washing, accommodations, boats, fish cleaning and smoking/freezing, a full breakfast, packed lunch plus a gourmet dinner, all for a per person, per day price. You could offer this same type of hospitality or make changes as you see fit. Additional photos available upon request of the cabins.
