Lisbon: Location and surroundings of this property

The parish is named after the old Quinta de Santa Clara. The territory of the parish is located in the old “saloia” area, which supplied the city with its farms and fields of cultivation, and remained so until the first decades of the 20th century. The term Ameixoeira came from a Mixo Moor who lived there. Until the 18th century it was called Mixoeira. Bartolomeu, the last Terreiro de Feira in Lisbon. Famous in both parishes was the “Vinho do Termo” that supplied the taverns of the capital, whose vines were predominantly cultivated in Quintas da Torrinha and da Mourisca. A habit that remained there until the first decade of the 20th century was “waiting for the bulls' ', on Calçada de Carriche.
